President-elect Barack Obama today named five officials to help lead his economic team. They cover the Department of Treasury (to be led by Timothy Geithner), as well as the offices of the National Economic Council (Larry Summers, incoming director), Council of Economic Advisers (Christina Romer, incoming director), and Domestic Policy Council (incoming Director Melody Barnes and Deputy Director Heather Higginbottom). read more (link)
