Bailout Watch

As Barack Obama prepares to take office and stimulate the economy, he's got to contend with a lot of government borrowing already on the books. Last month's announcement of $17.4 billion for the car sector was just the latest of more than a dozen multibillion-dollar rescue packages for a variety of industries and people endangered by the financial chaos.
