MEMC Electronic Materials (WFR) disclosed in an SEC filing today that it plans to cut 200 jobs at its MEMC Korea unit. The cuts are in addition to 200 cuts disclosed earlier this month that targeted its facilities at St. Peters, Missouri, and Sherman, Texas.
The company said the moves combined will save about $30 million a year.
In today’s regular session, WFR fell 55 cents, or 3.4%, to $15.63.
