Yahoo (YHOO) has made it official : former Autodesk CEO Carol Bartz will be the company’s new chief executive officer, completing a two-month search for a successor for Jerry Yang , who steps down after 18 tumultuous months in the top job. Bartz takes over immediately. Yang resumes his former title as “Chief Yahoo.”
The company also announced that President Sue Decker will resign after remaining with the company for a transitional period. Decker had been a candidate for the top job.
