Yahoo To Name Bartz CEO, WSJ Reports

Yahoo (YHOO) will name Carol Bartz, the former CEO of Autodesk (ADSK) , as the company’s next chief executive, completing a two-month search for a successor to founder Jerry Yang , according to the Wall Street Journa l, which attributes the news to “people familiar with the situation.” The story said Yahoo declined to comment, and that Bartz could not be reached for comment. Bartz, 60, was CEO of Autodesk from 1992 to 2006; she remains executive chairman of the company. She is a board member at both Cisco (CSCO) and Intel (INTC).
